I understand finding the best cake in Riyadh could feel overwhelming because every bakery claims to be the best.
NO OFFENCE!
But some guys do it just right and better than others. If you are celebrating something big or maybe even need a sugar fix on a random Tuesday, Riyadh won’t disappoint you.
BUT
One wrong choice and boom!
Your cravings turn into anger and I don’t want that to happen. I have tried over 30 different cake places in Riyadh so I kind of know my way through the city.
If you are looking for rich chocolate layers, creamy cheesecakes, and custom cakes that look (and taste) insane then I have chosen five of my favorite cake places in Riyadh that you must try today (or even tomorrow).
You will be licking your plate and I won’t judge you for that!
So let’s get started!
1. Munch Bakery
They have seven bakeries across Riyadh so you are never too far away from Munch. I grabbed a cake from Much for my friend’s birthday and let me tell you.
IT STOLE THE SHOW!
The designs are flawless and the flavors are next level.
OH!
If you want a custom cake they won’t say no to you. Their available options will be enough for most people which include:
- Chocolate cakes
- Red velvet
- Cheesecakes
- Blue velvet
- Crunch cakes
- Mini cakes
- Cupcakes
What I love most is how easy they make it to order. I placed my order online, scheduled a pickup, and boom! Party saved.
2. Easy Bakery
Located on Anas bin Malik Rd, this bakery keeps the classics alive and doesn’t overly complicate choices for you. My favorite is their Marble Cake. The swirl of chocolate and vanilla is so soft and buttery that it will fall off your spoon (or whatever you use to eat).
The cakes here aren’t overly sweet and you can grab a second slice without even thinking twice. They have some good options to choose from which are:
- Cinnamon Cake
- Lemon Cake
- Black Sesame Cake
- Banana Cake
- Marble Cake
- Carrot and Zucchini
- Caramel Cheesecake Cup
Their Caramel Cheesecake Cup is dangerously good—perfect for when you’re “not that hungry” but still want something sweet.
3. SugarMoo Custom Cakes in Riyadh
You might have heard about sweet dreams many times but this bakery turns those into reality for you. Located on Othman Bin Affan Road, you will find almost every kind of cake in this place.
I tried their Red Velvet Crunch Cake with Oreo, and the mix of soft cake layers with that Oreo crunch was seriously impressive.
All of their cakes have a balanced flavor with a perfect combination of texture and sweetness.
If you are craving something sweet but don’t want to go over the board then try their baby cakes. These are the same cakes but a bit smaller in size.
I once picked up a Baby Dulce de Lotus Cake, and it was rich, moist, and full of flavor.
Their cake options include:
Regular Cakes:
- CHOCO LOCO CAKE
- DOUBLE CHOCO AND BERRY CAKE
- WHITE VELVET PARTY CAKE
- CARROT CAKE
- MOCHA CHOCA CHEESECAKE
- RED VELVET CRUNCH CAKE WITH OREO
- STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE
- HONEYLICIOUS CAKE

The options are endless.
4. Chunk
Located in Al Mohammadiyyah, this bakery has options that will leave you thinking if you ever knew about cakes.
YUP! I had to call one of the workers to help me decide on a cake.
My favorite is their Salted Caramel Cake, thanks to its rich texture, layers, and that taste of butter that I just cannot forget.
It’s the kind of cake that will disappear from your dinner table in just seconds.
AND
If you are that guy who doesn’t want too much sugar then I would highly recommend the mini cakes. You will be craving more after trying a mini cake but at least you won’t feel the guilt.
Some other cakes they have are:

5. Survival Cake
The last but in no way the least is this crazy luxury bakery in Riyadh. If you want to feel like royalty while eating dessert, Survival Cake is the place.
The unique gold design of the bakery makes you feel like a billionaire for a few minutes
AND
Don’t worry the prices aren’t high.
I tried their Pistachio Rose Cake, and it was incredible. The light rose flavor blended perfectly with the rich pistachio, creating a balanced and delicious taste.
Their honey cake is quite famous but I didn’t try it because I knew it would be a bit too sweet for my taste.
OH!
If you want to show up to a party and instantly win the best guest award then go for their Celebration Box and you will be thanking me for days!
