Get your chopsticks ready because we have finally found the best Vietnamese restaurant in Riyadh. Pho food is hard to find in Riyadh and after searching for months I could only find a few places that served authentic Vietnamese food.
BUT
The places weren’t really up to the standards I was looking for.
I have finally found a place that knows how to do pho food right. If you are Craving a hot, steamy bowl of pho that warms your soul or maybe a crispy, flavor-packed banh mi that hits just right? Well, consider your cravings answered!
Today, we are talking about PHO. This restaurant currently offers only delivery so you can enjoy Vietnamese food in your comfortable pajamas.
Let me tell you my experience here.
PHO Vietnamese Eatery: The Best Vietnamese Restaurant in Riyadh
Located in Oruba Square, PHO Vietnamese Eatery is the only restaurant that truly knows how to do pho food right.
Their dishes will make you forget you are eating at home.
My Experience With PHO
I was searching for Vietnamese food for quite a while and I found this restaurant on hunger station. I wanted to try as many of the menu items as possible so I ordered almost everything.
Starting with the pho which was an incredible experience. The broth was thick and flavorful with just the right amount of spices to keep the flavors balanced.
The beef is tender and literally melts in your mouth.
THE BEST PART?
It comes with fresh herbs and bean sprouts that make the pho 10x better.
AND
Their peanut sauce is not your ordinary side sauce that is bland. I paired it with almost all the dishes I ordered and it did not disappoint even a bit.
Menu Highlights
Ok, let’s talk about food because that’s what you are here for and I don’t want to waste more time. I will only talk about my favorites but feel free to explore their whole menu.
PHO:
This is what the restaurant is known for and that’s why they named it pho. Whether you go with the Beef Pho (45 SR) or the Chicken Pho (40 SR), you will get juicy slices of protein and rice so soft it will slip off the chopsticks. The broth? It will make you feel warm and cozy.
Banh Mi:
Sandwiches but Vietnamese style? Yes, please! Count me in! These sandwiches have a personality that is better than mine. The Beef Banh Mi (40 SR) and Shrimp Banh Mi (45 SR) include some fresh vegetables and proteins of your choice rolled in a crispy baguette.
The Salmon Banh Mi (55 SR) with its sweet apple twist was also a fun surprise—who knew a sandwich could be this satisfying?
Rolls:
If you want a quick brunch with a side of Vietnamese rolls then get one of their chicken roll (35 SR) which is simple but satisfying or the Crab Roll (49 SR) which includes crab sticks and mango creating a sweet and savory combo that I couldn’t stop munching on.
Salads:
Now for those who love healthy food, they have a wide range of salads to choose from. My favorite is the Vietnamese Chicken Salad (35 SR) which includes crunchy veggies, peanuts, and tender chicken.
AND
All this is covered in a delicious nuoc cham sauce which adds a unique tangy flavor to the salad.
Owned By Eat Chinwa
The restaurant is owned by the owners of Eat Chinwa which is a popular Chinese restaurant in Riyadh. The dishes and menu were all made under the supervision of the famous chef working at Eat Chinwa.
Delivery Convenience
I used Hungerstation to order my food and it arrived within 30 minutes. The food arrived fresh, hot, and perfectly packed. I would recommend ordering at non-peak times because due to traffic and amount of orders your delivery can be delayed which will compromise the quality of the food.
Conclusion
So, if you are looking for some Vietnamese food without breaking the bank or leaving the comfort of your home then PHO is your perfect option. There are not many other options for Vietnamese food in Riyadh so I think the restaurant easily ranks Number One out of the available options.
