Well, today I am going to talk about some of the best dumplings in Riyadh because these small pockets of dough are becoming more and more famous every day.
There are tons of restaurants in Riyadh that offer dumplings but very few know exactly how to make these perfectly.
Steamed, fried, or floating in a rich broth, dumplings are one of those foods that you can pair with almost anything.
Riyadh has some spots that are my favorite for dumplings.
Some places offer dim sum, while others keep it simple with classic Chinese, Japanese, or even Nepalese-style dumplings.
I have tried the majority of restaurants that offer dumplings (because someone had to do it) and have picked five places that will not disappoint even a tiny bit.

1. Yauatcha Riyadh –Dim Sum with a Side of Luxury
This restaurant is located in Al Olaya Riyadh and it doesn’t only serve your ordinary steamed dumplings. Yauatcha has taken the dumplings game to the next level and serves them with unique fillings like lobster, truffle, and even Tobiko caviar (because why not?).
THE AMBIANCE?
The restaurant has a stylish and relaxed vibe, and you will want your food to arrive late so you can take those snaps and relax your body.
With warm lighting and wooden interiors, you will feel so lost in the atmosphere that you won’t even know how many dumplings you ate.

Their dumpling options are impressive and you get:

2. KI – Gyoza Done Right
This Japanese restaurant probably has one of the coolest ambiance in Riyadh. With a sleek design and dim lighting, the restaurant feels like a cozy and luxurious place where you have a feeling of being a billionaire.
This is the kind of restaurant where you will want to order another round of dumplings before you even finish the first one.
The options for dumplings (Gyoza) here are limited and that’s because they only offer things they do best. You have options for:
- Wagyu beef
- chicken
- steamed
- fried
A simple menu, Luxury vibes, and staff that will greet you as if you are their long-time best friend.
3. Mr. Chow – Dumplings with a Side of Elegance
If there was something called VIP dumplings it would have been here at Mr. Chow. his place brings high-end Chinese dining to Riyadh with a menu that’s just as sleek as its black-and-white aesthetic.
This Chinese restaurant nails the art of elegance with white tablecloths, high ceilings, and massive windows that make everything feel extra fancy but not in a stuffy way.
WHAT ABOUT DUMPLINGS?
These are handmade, delicate, and filled to the last centimeter so you don’t feel like you are chewing on dough only.
Whether you go for the classic steamed options or something a little more indulgent, expect thin wrappers, juicy fillings, and that perfect bite that keeps you coming back for more.
4. Golden Dragon – Best Dumplings In Riyadh
If you are after a serious Chinese vibe in Riyadh then this Chinese restaurant won’t disappoint you. Everything here screams “CHINESE”.
The red walls, Chinese art, and dim red lights set the right Asian tone in the dining area and the place is a great pick for special occasions or an elegant dinner out.
NOW LET’S TALK DUMPLINGS!
Their special pan-fried dumplings are my favorite but other options like the shrimp or chicken filling are no less.
All the dumplings have a nice crispy texture on the inside and the inside is juicy and tender.
If you’re dining with friends or family, the family-sized orders (10 pieces) are perfect for sharing. If you’re flying solo, grab the smaller set and enjoy them all to yourself (no judgment here).

The fried shrimp gyoza is also a must-try. I remember that I wanted to cancel the main course and try some more of their shrimp dumplings.
5. MOMOS
The name says it all!
This place is small but the flavors of dumplings here are no less than extraordinary.
Located in Ar, Rabi Riyadh, this place blends a minimalist, clean design with a menu full of creative dumplings that’ll keep your taste buds guessing.
The interior design with clean white walls and black chairs gives the place a fresh and welcoming look.
They have a huge variety of dumplings and for those healthy food lovers, they have a whole section of vegetarian dumplings.
I love their Crystal Vegetables dumplings which include carrot, squash, and green veggies, giving you that satisfying crunch and freshness.
