Let’s talk about rooftop restaurants in Riyadh because honestly dining indoors is too basic now. I am not just talking about outdoor restaurants here. I mean those places where you can enjoy good food with the best view of Riyadh city.
If you love beautiful sunsets or city lights at night and maybe even some romantic rooftop dinners under the stars, then you will have plenty of options in Riyadh.
Think about it! Delicious food, a stunning Riyadh skyline, and that unbeatable open-air vibe. What else could you ask for?
It always feels fancy to be above other people even if it’s just one floor but there are some places that are in the clouds (not really but they are high).

1. Lenôtre
The first one on our list is this beautiful spot located on Tahlia Street in Al Olaya. This place will give you a nice 360-degree view of the famous building in Olaya Riyadh paired with stunning furniture and great food.
Instead of walls on the side, they used glass so you could see everything clearly without blocking the view.
I love this place at night time because you see a mix of different colors and glowing lights all around you.
The restaurant uses low lighting on their rooftop which makes the overall vibe romantic and laid back.

A great view can’t be complete without good food, can it?
This restaurant has a menu that caters to all tastes so you don’t have to worry about your picky friends because they will find their favorites here.
If you like something light then their salad section will make you scratch your head because the options are endless.
Want something fancier? Their sandwiches are light but will definitely be a good choice for brunch.
For the main dishes the options are endless but my favorites are:
- Penne Alla Arrabiatta
- Chicken & Forest Mushrooms Fettuccini
- Lasagna Alla Bolognese.
And yeah, don’t forget to leave room for desserts because you will not want to miss those.
2. Farzi Café
I talked about this restaurant when mentioning the best Indian restaurants in Riyadh and now we have it here again. Farzi café located in Hittin, Riyadh is more than just a café.
DON’T BE FOOLED BY ITS NAME!
They have a huge building that is dedicated to this restaurant with indoor, outdoor, and rooftop dining options.
BUT LETS BE REAL!
The rooftop is where all the fun happens. The soft lighting and panoramic view of Riyadh city from the 3rd floor make any occasion special.
The furniture has a sleek design and is paired with minimalist décor to give the rooftop a calm and inviting look. If you want to spend quality time with your loved ones or celebrate something big under the stars this is the place to choose.
Food Options:
Indian food is quite famous in Riyadh and Farzi café doesn’t hold back an inch here. Their dishes are a perfect example of a mix of traditional and modern food.
You get plenty of options like Tempura Dynamite Shrimp, Chicken Tikka Masala, and even Farzified Shawarma Biryani (yes, you read that right!).
If you’re into grilled kebabs, hearty biryanis, or vegetarian dishes like Dal Makhni or Wild Mushroom Risotto, there’s always something on their menu to try out.
3. Stella Sky Lounge
If you are after a serious rooftop luxury experience then Stella Sky Lounge in Al Hada will surprise you (literally!). The center of attention on their rooftop is the giant pool.
YUP YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT!
A pool on the rooftop how cool is that? It gives you that super cool luxury vibe like you are on your private yacht. The seating is comfortable with big sofa seats so you don’t bump your spoons when picking up food.
And to add a touch of romantic dinner you will get some candles on the dining table.

What about the view? Oh, it’s gorgeous. You get to see those clean and beautiful roads of Al Hada and the dim blue lights beside the pool make everything calm.
Cuisine Variety
Stella offers a mix of Lebanese and international dishes but my favorites are those classic Lebanese menu items.
For appetizers, you get the all-time classics like the Hummus, Falafel, or Grape Leaves.
On the main courses, my favorites and must-try are Grilled Kebab Platter, Lebanese Rice with Meat, or the always popular Chicken Shish Taouk.
If you’re in the mood for something lighter, their flatbreads like the Rocca Leaves & Halloumi or Smoked Salmon will not feel heavy.
Oh, and the desserts are a must-try. I would skip the main courses but not the classic desserts. My favorites here are:
- Baklava,
- Knafeh
- Maamoul
4. Anghami Lab
A rooftop spot with an unbeatable view and vibe located on the famous Boulevard Riyadh. This is probably the most cozy and premium rooftop restaurant in Riyadh in terms of views, lighting, and vibe.
Located right on top of Merwas (aka the biggest, most advanced studio in the Middle East), this place gives you front-row seats to the Boulevard dancing fountains and a clear view of the Riyadh skyline.
This is the kind of rooftop restaurant where you would wish to stay just a little longer. You get a mix of great food, a fresh breeze, and some fun beats playing in the background.
I would recommend visiting this place at night because once the sun sets those purple lights give this place a feel you won’t find anywhere else.
Food Options
The greatest rooftop view in Riyadh paired with some amazing food?
Yes please, count me in.
They have a wide variety of American food options but let me tell you about my favorites which are:
- Tomahawk Steak
- Spicy Tiger Prawns
- Mix Grill
- Churros
- Halawat Al Joubon (trust me, it’s a game-changer)
5. African Lounge
If you want a more calm and relaxing rooftop atmosphere without any noise then African Lounge is the perfect option for you.
This rooftop restaurant in Riyadh is a perfect mix of both comfort and style.
The wooden floors and colorful tables make this place inviting while the sofa seats will make you want to relax and enjoy for a bit longer.
To make things even more comfortable the big heaters beside the tables will make your dining experience warm and enjoyable.
WHAT ABOUT THE VIEW?
You get to see yellow lights with palm trees swaying below and people strolling by. It feels like you’re watching a live postcard.
It’s the kind of place that works for everything: romantic dinners, catch-ups with friends, or even just a chill night.

African Lounge has gathered multiple cuisines under one roof so you will find a variety of options to enjoy here. I have tried most of their dishes but some of my favorites here are:
