If you thought that retail therapy was all you needed then think again. From sizzling hot dishes to flavors so bold they’ll steal the spotlight, this mall’s dining scene is just as exciting as your shopping haul.
So let’s put all those shopping bags to one side and get to the good stuff. We will talk about these restaurants:

1. Shrimp Zone
After a hectic shopping spree at the View Mall Riyadh, Shrimp Zone is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some delicious food.
I love the vibe here with a modern combo of grey and black decor and comfy sofa-style seating. If you are into seafood then you might come to view mall just for food next time.
Menu Items:
I have been to this place more times than I can remember. My favorite on the menu is their dynamite shrimp. These shrimps have a nice crispy texture that shatter the moment you bite into it.
The inside has a shrimp that is tender, juicy, and perfectly fried.
AND
Don’t forget the dynamite sauce. It’s creamy with a hint of hotness making the whole experience even better.
The second one that I really loved was the shrimp boiled bag. The unique thing about this dish is the option to choose either butter or olive oil, and both options really elevate the shrimp’s natural sweetness.
It’s a fun and messy meal that will make you forget everything going around you.
OH, AND I FORGOT!
For something a bit light go for the Cajun Fries. They are perfectly cut, crispy, and seasoned with the right amount of salt.
I find myself ordering extra just to have some with my shrimp boil bag because they go so well together.
2. Jamie’s Italian
We have talked about Italian restaurants in Riyadh before but this one in the view mall is definitely one of my favorites.
Being inside a mall you wouldn’t expect much from a restaurant but they have taken their dining space to the next level. The restaurant has a stylish and modern dining space which is no less than any luxury restaurant in Riyadh.
You will see some nice private booths and regular tables giving you flexibility to choose the place that suits your needs.
To make the overall dining area more inviting they have added teal walls, yellow chairs, and unique hanging lights that add character to the whole vibe.
My Favorite Dishes
Their menu is very long and you will be scratching your head for a good five minutes to understand how to pronounce the names. Four dishes really stood out for me which were:
Surf & Turf
The chargrilled prime Australian beef striploin is perfectly cooked, juicy and tender with a rich, smoky flavor. It is topped with a unique combination of prawns and creamy béarnaise which makes the overall taste of the beef even more better.
Porcini Truffle Tagliatelle
If you love pasta then you might even pack some of this to take home because you will be thinking about this dish for the next whole week.
The tagliatelle is silky and coated in a luscious creamy sauce.
THAT’S JUST THE BEGINNING!
It is loaded with garlicky mushrooms to give it a slight touch of tanginess.
The shaved truffle on top adds a rich, earthy aroma that makes every bite like it’s the first one.
Funghi Chicken Al Mattone
This dish totally amazed me! The chicken marinated in herbs is cooked under a brick, making the skin crispy while keeping the inside juicy. It is paired with some mashed potatoes and served with a healthy amount of mushroom sauce.
Amalfi Lemon Cheesecake
I never compromise on the desserts and this cheesecake is the reason. The cake is light and has a hint of lemon flavor with Italian meringue on top making it a good ending meal.
3. Azal Restaurant
You don’t find Yemeni food everywhere in Riyadh but you sure do find it in the view mall. This restaurant is for those who don’t want to wait for their food and just need some quick energy to continue their shopping.
As a grab and go restaurant Azal kips the dine-in option but makes up for it with bold flavors and generous portions that speak for themselves.
What Are The Options?
Their food is packed with traditional flavors and herbs and is different from all the restaurants in view mall. I have been here only twice and it didn’t disappoint either of the times.
The fan favorites here include Haneeth Meat which is a traditional lamb dish cooked on a low flame. Another best seller is the Mutabaq Azal, which includes minced meat, eggs, onions and a small amount of cheese all inside a nice fresh bread.
If you like dishes that are more like a stew then I would suggest my favorite Fahsa Meat. This dish includes shredded lamb stewed with spices and topped with a frothy fenugreek layer. The thick and hearty texture is ideal if you are feeling cold or tired.
4. Popeyes
This restaurant brings the famous fried chicken of Louisiana to the malls and streets of Riyadh. In the view mall they offer a basic dining area with chairs and tables in their traditional orange and grey color tone.
Food Options:
When you pass through this place you will feel the aroma of fried chicken all around the place. My favorite is the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich Meal and it didn’t disappoint.
The chicken fillet was crispy, tender and juicy wrapped in a soft bun with fresh pickles and mayo. The meal also comes with a decent amount of Cajun fries and a cold drink to flush it all inside nicely.
If you are with a group of people then also try 5 Piece Tenders Classic with their creamy ranch sauce. While they may look like ordinary chicken tenders their flavors completely surprised me. It has that perfect crunch on the outside and right amount of juice to keep it flavorful.
DON’T FORGET!
The wings might be small but don’t let their size fool you. The Honey BBQ wings stood out with their smoky sweetness, and the Garlic Parmesan wings packed a rich, savory punch.
5. Steak House View Mall
What’s better than a perfectly cooked steak after a long shopping spree?
NOTHING!
The restaurant might be inside a mall but they didn’t compromise a bit on the interior design. The place has a nice, clean and modern look without being too fancy.
The brick walls, wood, and black details gave it a cool, slightly industrial vibe.
Dishes I Loved
You guys know I love seafood and this is what I started my meal with. I went for their Spicy Jumbo Dynamite Shrimp, and wow! They were coated in spicy sriracha glaze that had just the right amount of heat. If you love a little kick, this is for you!
For my main dish, I couldn’t say no to the Rib Eye Steak. It was flame-grilled just the way I like it, with a slightly crispy outside and a juicy, tender inside. The marbling gave it so much flavor—each bite was buttery and rich.
